Lenin first picked up a golf club when he was 27 years old at Cincinnati’s Blue Ash Golf Course. 20+ years later, he is a single-digit handicapper, competed in amateur circuits, and won several tournaments and multiple Northern California Player of the Year awards. He was the 2021 Amateur Player Tour(APT) national runner-up at Pinehurst.
Lenin lost 2021 APT national championship by one stroke due to a two stroke penalty he accepted to respect the integrity of the game.
Lenin is a seasoned IT, Engineering and Security executive who worked in retail, gaming, and startups in his 25+ years of career. Lenin co-founded GIT1K, a Global IT leaders syndicate to help startup founders with GTM, product-market fit, raising funds, and investing in them. Prior to GIT1K, Lenin was the CIO & CISO, an SVP of Engineering at Quotient Technologies. He lives with his wife and son in the beautiful Mountain House community in California.
